For compatible Fire TV devices running Fire OS. Menu names may vary depending on your software version.
- Install Downloader
From the Fire TV home screen, open Find / Search. Search for Downloader by AFTVnews and install it from the Amazon Appstore.
- Unlock Developer Options
Open Settings → My Fire TV → About. Highlight your Fire TV device name and press the Select button on your remote seven times. Go back to My Fire TV.
- Allow installation for Downloader
Open Developer Options → Install Unknown Apps (or Apps from Unknown Sources) and enable Downloader. Only install apps from a source you trust.
- Open Downloader
Launch Downloader. If prompted, allow access to files so it can save the installer.
- Download your player
Enter the verified download URL or Downloader code supplied with your compatible player. Select Go, download the APK and confirm Install.
- Finish setup
Open the player and enter your supplied account details. Afterwards, turn off Downloader's permission to install unknown apps.
Some newer Fire TV devices use Vega OS and cannot install Android APKs using this method. If Developer Options or Install Unknown Apps is missing, check your exact device model and software version.
Install from Smart Hub.
Samsung TVs use their own app platform. Downloader and Android APKs are not supported.
- Connect your TV
Connect to Wi-Fi or Ethernet and sign in to your Samsung Account if requested.
- Open Apps
Press Home on your remote, open Apps / Smart Hub and select Search.
- Find a compatible player
Search for your chosen player (for example IBO Pro Player, if available for your TV model and region). Check its publisher and compatibility.
- Install and sign in
Select Install, open the player and enter the configuration or login details supplied for your account.
App availability depends on your TV model, region and Samsung's store. Ask support for a compatible alternative.

- Open App Store
Connect your Apple TV to the internet, sign in to your Apple Account and open the App Store.
- Search for your player
Find a player that explicitly supports Apple TV / tvOS. Check the app description and publisher.
- Download the app
Select Get (or the listed price) and confirm installation.
- Set up your account
Launch the app and enter your supplied account details or supported configuration.
AFTV Downloader and Android APKs do not run on Apple TV. Apple TV (3rd generation) does not support installing new apps.
